It is a good idea to think about exactly what it is you don't like about your smile before you come in for the consultation so that we can make sure we use the time as constructively as possible. It is also important to know the type of smile you're aiming for – a 'Hollywood' dazzler or as natural a one as possible.
At the consultation, Dr Oliver listens to all your concerns and using the latest computer technology, with your interaction will design your perfect smile that suits you best whether it's the perfect natural look or the perfect Hollywood look.
After the consultation, steps are taken to turn the computer simulation into reality. Preview models are made and then a dress rehearsal in temporary form can be seen before an actual tooth is touched. Dr Oliver encourages his patients to give him feedback at every stage. This ensures you end up with the smile you have always wanted.
With the latest materials and technology, Cosmetic dentistry has become more and more conservative , especially if it is combined with an orthodontic process.
Hence more of the tooth substance is preserved and a total transformation of the smile can be achieved with minimal intervention.

Having qualified from Kings College Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry, London in 1987, Dr Joe Oliver began his dental career with an interest in facial surgery, working in the surgical departments of various London teaching hospitals. It was whilst dealing with victims of facial trauma, mainly from road traffic accidents, that his interest in cosmetic dentistry developed. He saw that many patients having undergone complicated facial reconstruction often considered oral rehabilitation an important step in their recovery process.
Dr Oliver has worked for over 30 years specializing in cosmetic dentistry and has fitted in excess of 30,000 veneers. He started in an established cosmetic dental group where he became Clinical Director, teaching other dentists the latest techniques and the art of cosmetic dentistry.
